Day 02: After breakfast , HJT representative will take your original passport for issue the Tibet Visa at Chinese Embassy Kathmandu and our tour guide will take to you historical monuments sightseeing around kathmandu valley including Pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu Dubar square , Sywambhunath ( Monkey temple) and prepare for Tibet tour. Overnight at Kathmandu..
Day 03: Drive to Nyalam (3800m.) - 165 kms. 8 hrs.
Morning after breakfast leave Kathmandu to commence yatra to Nyalam [3750M]. We reach Friendship Bridge [Nepal – China Boarder] by mini-coach. Walk along for 10 minutes to cross the bridge and there get acquainted with Chinese guide and land cruiser drivers. They will give a brief information regarding the further trip then proceed the journey to Zangmu, where all the immigration and custom formalities are ought to be accomplished. After the accomplishment of all formalities, we proceed to Nyalam. Arrival at Nyalam and overnight stay at guesthouse.
Day 04: Drive Nyalam to Saga (4540m.) - 115 kms. 6-7 hrs.Overnight in camp.
On the first long driving day over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet, other things like lake, nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy. By the late afternoon you will cross Bhramha Purtra River way to typical Chinese and Tibetan town, Saga for night.
Day 05: Drive Saga to Paryang (4540m.) - 185 kms. 7-8 hrs.Overnight in camp.
Jeeps and trucks roll on the wide valley following rivers and grazing land of yaks and sheep. Far south you can see snow covered peaks near by you, lots of rocky peaks and sand duns give you an ideal world. Depends on season, nomads and other mobile shopkeepers are attired by beautiful traditional costume, waiting your arrival with hot tea and other supplies along with big smile.
Day 06: Drive Paryang to Holy Mansarovar Lake(4700m.) 290 Kms. 7-8 hrs. Overnight in camp.
The longest driving day starts with full of excitement, by the late afternoon you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara. Hore, a small village near by Lake Manasarover. Holy-Manasarovara: At 14950-ft/ 4558m. The highest lake of fresh water with turquoise complexion in the world is full of fishes and swans. Holy Kailash Parbat, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, Lake Rashekshi are lying on its surrounding. The region is considered rich for gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures. Night will be spending at Chu Gumba
Day 07: Day free for rest, purification bath in the Holy Lake, etc. Overnight in camp.
Day 08:Drive up to Starting point of Kailash Parikarma. Start trek to Dera Puk (4909m.) 18 Kms. 6-7 hrs.Overnight at camp.:
Manasarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and Puja we will be heading towards Darchen. It is considered as a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.
Day 09:continue Parikarma trek over Dolmala Pass (5650m.) to Zuthul Puk. 22 Kms. 7-8 hrs. overnight at camp.
It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; water falls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feeling that Great God Shiva is every where with tons of blessing to you. Time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will be keep on appearing. For 15 km trail it takes almost 7 hrs.
Day 10: End Kailash Parikarma near Darchen (4700m) 14 kms. 3-4 hrs.overnight at camp.
Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys: Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget yourself. Once your steps go down, Parvati-stal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon you will arrive Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here).
Day 11:Drive from Darchen to Paryang (4540 m.) 277 Kms. 7-8 hrs. overnight at camp.
Day 12:Drive from Paryang to Saga (4840m.) - 185 kms. 8 hrs. overnight at camp.
Day 13:Drive from Saga to Lhatse - 195 kms. 6-7 hrs. overnight at camp
Drive from Saga to Paryang through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains
Day 14:Drive from Lhaste to Shigaste - 221kms. 7-8 hrs. overnight at camp.
four hours drive brings us to Tibet's second largest city, Shigatse. Here we visit Tashilumpo monastery, the seat of the panchen Lama, hence one of the most important monasteries in Tibet. Altitude 3800 m
Day 15:Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse (125 km/6 hr) Overnight Hotel.
Shigatse (overnight at Sangdrobtse hotel with b/b sight-seeing Baijui Monastery) [Festival] Shigatse (Xigatse) - 12600 ft. "Shigatse" in Tibetan means " the Estate that fulfills One's Wishes". There is a bustling 'free' market at the foot of the ruins of the Xigatse Fortress where One can buy local handicrafts embedded with coral and turquoise, Tibetan daggers, Chinese porcelain And yak butter. It is situated between 29o 02'N and 88o 08'E in the south - west of the Tibet Autonomous Region where Nyangchu River joins the Yarlung Tsangpo River. Shigatse is the second Biggest town in Tibet and it is the center of transportation and the distributing center of agriculture And husbandry products of southeastern part of Tibet. It is famous for the great Monastery
Day 16:Drive from Gyantse to Lhasa. Overnight Hotel
Gyangtse (overnight at Gyangtse hotel with b/b sight-seeing Tashilunpu Monastery) Shoton - [Yogurt Festival] Gyangtse (13050 ft): A small agricultural town famous for its wool carpets and The Phalkor Choide Chorten.Between the monastery and the fort, this unique structure built in 1414 Consists of five stories representing the five steps to enlightenment, topped by thirteen rings which Symbolize the stages of advancement towards Buddhahood. There are 108 halls inside, each with Frescoes and Buddha Shrines, the frescoes showing a strong Indian influence. Before 1959 traders Coming from Kalimpong and Gangtok (India) used to enter Tibet through Yandong and then to Gyantse, en route to Lhasa.
Day 17:Sightseeing tour in Lhasa / lhasa excursion tour
Lhasa sightseeing as Potala Palace and Jorkhang Temple [Drepung & Sera Monastery Thangkha festival] Jorkhang Temple: Jokhang Temple situated in the center of the old section of Lhasa, and was built in the mid - 7th century A. D. and later extended by successive rulers, it has now become a gigantic architecture complex. Located in the east, facing to the west, it is a four-storied Temple with splendid golden roofs. It has architecture feature of Tang Dynasty and also assimilated very much features from both Nepalese and Indian Buddhist Temples. The murals in the temple mainly depict the life stories of historic characters. The temple houses many historical relics since Tang Dynasty and statues of King Songtsen Gompa, Princess Wencheng, Princess Bhrikuti Devi (Nepalese). "Princess Willow" (a tree), and "The Uncle - Nephew Alliance Tablet" can be seen at the front gate of the temple. Jokhang is the country' s spiritual center, and the holiest destination for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. It houses the sitting statue of Sakyamuni when he was 12 years old.
Day 18:Sightseeing tour in Lhasa / lhasa excursion tour
Sightseeing Drepung and Sera with Norbulingka [Festival] Drepung Monastery: Situated five Km's distance to the western suburb of Lhasa at the foot of Mt. Ganpoi Uze. Jamyang Choje, a disciple of Tsongkapa, the founder of Gelugpa Sect, founded Drepung Monastery, in 1416. The monastery, occupying an area of 250,000 squire meters with a fixed number of 7,700 monks, is the largest monastery in Tibet. The monastery keeps plentiful historical relics, Buddhist scriptures, and arts and crafts.
Day 19: After breakfast, Relaxing/shopping with own activities ,Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition’s representative will drop to Lhasa Gonger airport for onward destination.

Day 03:Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650 m) 1 hr. 30 minutes flight
After breakfast, we will transfer the group to Tribhuvan International Airport to board Air China's Flight No. CA 408 to Lhasa at 10:25 am. Upon arrival at Gonggar Airport, the group shall be met by our local representative and transfer provided to your hotel in Lhasa. The group will reach the Hotel Lhasa at approx 5 pm. The first day will be spent resting to acclamatize with the altitude because Kathmandu is at 1200 m above sea level and Lhasa is at 3650 m. So it needs some time to acclimatize with the altitude. Day 04:Lhasa - Visit Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Street
Sera is the second biggest Gelupa Monastery in the north suburb of Lhasa, which was built in 1419 by Tsongapa's disciple Sakya-yeshi. Situated at the heart of the oldest section of the Lhasa city, Jokhang, one of the oldest temples in Tibet, was built in the 7th century by the 33rd king Sontsanganbu. Barkor is the middle pilgrimage circuit around Jokhang temple
Day 05:Lhasa - Visit Potala palace, Drepung Monastery & Norbulingka
Potala was the winter palace of the Dalailama, which was originally built in the 7th century by the king Sotsen Gampo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai lama in the 17th century. Built in the mid-18th century by the 7th Dalailama, Norbulingka, the Jewel Park was the Dalai lama's summer palace, it covers 100 acres with palaces, pavilions and a zoo. Drepung monastery; Built in1416 by Tsongapa's disciple Jamyang-choje, Drepung Monastery is the biggest Gelupa monastery in the west suburb of Lhasa
Day 06:Drive Lhasa to & drive to Shigatse (3900 m) - 350 km/ 7-8 hrs.
After breakfast, drive to Shigatse. Shigatse is the second biggest city in Tibet, 90KMs away from Gyangtse. The famous Tashillunpo Monastery in Shigatse, seat of the Panchan Lama, one of the six important Gelupa Monasteries in China, was built in 1447 by the first Dalailama.
Day 07:Drive from Shigatse to Lhatse (4350 m) 308 km. / 6 - 7 hrs. .
After early breakfast, leave for Lhatse Packed lunch will be served en route. Arrive at Lhatse
Day 08:Drive from Lhatse to Saga (4640 m) 300 km. / 8 - 9 hrs.
Day 09:Drive from Saga to Prayang (4520 m) 200 km. / 6 -7 hrs.
After early breakfast, proceed for Prayang (200 km. / 6 -7 hrs). Drive through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders. On this day the road is quite flat, hence the drive will be comfortable compared to other days. Overnight at Hotel Prayang.
Day 10:Drive from Prayang to Hor Quo, Mansarovar (4560 m) 223 km/ 5 - 6 hrs.
After breakfast, drive to Mayum River for 112 km and have lunch. Thereafter drive to Hor Quo (4560 m) 223 km/ 5 - 6 hrs. We continue driving crossing Mayum La pass (5200 m) and arrive at Hor Quo. Today is the day of lifetime, as we will have the first sight (darshan) of Holy Mt. Kailash and Holy Lake Manasarovar. Camp on the bank of Holy Mansarover Lake.
Day 11:Mansarovar Parikarma (4520 m) 115 km/ 4 - 5 hrs. & drive to Darchen (4620 m)
After breakfast, it is a day for Puja & Holy bath in the holy lake. We will be doing Mansarover Parikarma by Jeep (4520 m) 115 km/ 4 - 5 hrs. On the way, we will stop near Trugu Gompa for Holy Bath in Holy Lake Mansarovar. We will be setting seperate bathing tents for changing your clothes. During this parikarma, we will have a picnic lunch on the bank of Holy Lake Mansarovar. Time Permitting visit Chui Gompa. Later, drive to Darchen (4620 m). Darchen is located beneath the majestic holy Mount Kailash, a small village with couple of guesthouses. During the auspicious pilgrimage time, this place will be flooded with Pilgrims with hundreds of tents all around. Darchen, the beginning and end point of the Kora.
Day 13:trek to Dirapuk (4860 m) 7 km/ 5 - 6 hrs.
After breakfast, drive approx. 13 Kms. to Tarboche, the trek starting point of Kailash Parikrama. Tarboche is also known as the outer "Asthapath". The first day of our Kora is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads us to few ups and downs till we reach our camp/guest house at Dirapuk (4860 m) 7 km/ 5 - 6 hours trek. Camping on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north west face. Those not feeling themselves fit to continue parikarma will drive back to Darchen and wait for the Parikarma group to return. Camp.
Day 14:Trek to Zuthulphuk (4760 m) 18 km/ 9 - 10 hrs
Today our circumbulation (Kora) leads to much higher side of the holy path just beneath the Holy Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest poi5,200 m. Overnight in Camp
Day 15:Zuthulphuk to Darchen trek 10 km/ 4 - 5 hrs. & drive to Hor Qu (Mansarovar)Overnight camping
Day 16:Drive from Mansarovar to Prayang (4750 m)
After breakfast, our land cruisers will be ready to take the group back to Prayang by tracing our footsteps returning home leaving the Holy place. Overnight at Hotel Prayang
Day 17:Drive Prayang to Saga (4600 m) 255 kms/ 6 - 7 hrs. drive
Day 18:Drive Saga to Zhangmu (3700 m) 240 Kms./ 6 - 7 hours
Day 19:Drive from Zhangmu to Friendship Bridge
After immigration formalities ,our tour guide will see you off here, and you need cross the border by yourself. Himalaya journey reprensentative will pick up you from Kodari (Tibet border), transfer to hotel. Over night at Kathmandu.
Day 20: After breakfast, relaxing or shopping or join for other adventures activities program in Nepal if not Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward journey.
