Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition airport representative will transfer to hotel, Tibet Kailash Mansarovar tour briefing with officially arrangements .overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: After breakfast , HJT representative will take your original passport for issue the Tibet Visa at Chinese Embassy Kathmandu and our tour guide will take to you historical monuments sightseeing around kathmandu valley including Pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, Kathmandu Dubar square , Sywambhunath ( Monkey temple) and prepare for Tibet tour. Overnight at Kathmandu..
Day 03: Kathmandu-Nayalam (3800M/165KMS-8HRS), Guest House. An early morning, we will enjoy the scenic drive to Kodari border, after completing the immigration formalities we cross the border to Tibet and stay in Nyalam. This is a small Himalayan town from where we start a short acclimatization trek and may visit a cave of the sage "MILEREPA",
Day 04: Acclimatization in Nayalam and Visit Milerepa Caves. Ont at Guest House. Nayalam is a beautiful place for acclimatization; you will visit Milarepa Cave where Tibetan Tantric Master saint meditated.
Day 05: Drive, Nayalam to Saga (4640mtrs/221kms/7hrs), Camp.
Beautiful drive to Paikutso, we visit the sacred lake of Pai -Kutso and take the ferry over the legendary river Brahmaputra. This is one of the 4 rivers which have its source near Kailash. Drive offers several beautiful Lake's view, we cross on boat Huge Brahmaputra River local language known as Yarlung Tsangpo , features of Tibetan Nomads with their herd of yaks and sheep.
Day 06: Drive, Saga to Parayang (4550mtrs /185kms /7hrs) Camp.
Today we enjoy the majestic views of the Tibetan Plateau and the grand Himalayan chain to the south.
Day 07: Drive to Lake Manasarover (4520mtrs/250kms-8-9hrs) Camp.
Today we will drive all the way to Manasarover and get the first views of Kailash and Manasarover.
Day 08: Full day excursion at Manasarover, overnight at Darchen at 4640m Tarboche , Camp. Explore Manasarover by jeep, holy Pooja, take a ritual bath. Enter ancient caves and enjoy the roaming place of RISHIS and YOGIS. According to ancient scriptures the lake is created from the mind of the Hindu deity BRAHMA. The lake is a gift for yogis who do penance here. The tremendous heat produced through their penance can be cooled of by a purifying and rejuvenating bath in the lake. It is said that a ritual bath in Manasarover kills the sins of a lifetime, after Pooja, ritual ceremony drive to Darchen or Tarboche for overnight.
Day 09: Start Kailash Parikarma from Darchen or Tarboche, Trek to Dira Puk . Today is the actual start of the circumambulation of Kailash from Darchen first prostration point, Tarboche Flag pole the auspicious gateway and sky burial ground, We trek to Dhira at Puk at 4765 Meters, camp at the north face of Kailash. This will be a once in a lifetime experience view of Kailash is superb from Here.
Day 10: Trek to Zuthul Puk (5650 meters/ 22kms- trek 8-9hrs).Camp.
Trek to the north face wall of Kailash. This is one of the real highlights of the tour. You will come face to face with the greatness of Kailash. We will cross the last ridges to literally sit in the lab of Shivas abode. This is the most powerful point of the pilgrimage and has transformed the lives of those who visited with humility and devotion. Today's hike is not part of the actual Kora and only possible for physically very fit people. Today we cross the Dolma La Pass (5650meters). Dorma La is the highest point of our pilgrimage and it is said that those who pass this gateway will finish the Karma of a full lifetime and start a new life at this point. Very near we find the famous lake "GAURIKUND", the bathtub of Parvati the wife of Lord Shiva. You have the opportunity to take a sacred bath here and charge your body, mind and spirit. Later we will trek to the campsite near the monastery Zutul Puk and enjoy the stay near the river.
Day 11: Kailash Kora end near Darchen (4700mtrs/14kms-5hrs) Camp.
Today we will complete the Kailash Kora crossing third and fourth prostration point ZUTHUL PUK Monastery and trek, trek near by Darchen from where we directly drive to Chiu Gompa the ancient monastery at the shore of Lake Manasarovar where you will enjoy a bath in the hot springs and camp near the lake.
Day 12: Drive, to Parayang (4540mtrs/277kms /7-8hrs) Camp.
Today, you will enjoy with Lush valleys, beautiful landscape and overnight at paryaang.
Day 13: Drive Parayang to Saga (4840mtrs/185kms-8hrs) .
Camp. On our way to Saga we again enjoy the beauty of the Tibetan Plateau and camp near the town at a sacred rock which marks one of the power vortexes of Tibet.
Day 14: Drive from Saga to Lhatse (195 km/7hr) Overnight Camp
Drive from Saga to Paryang through the windswept territory passing many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains.
Day 15: Drive from Lhatse to Shigatse (221 km/8hr) Overnight Hotel
a four hours drive brings us to Tibet's second largest city, Shigatse. Here we visit Tashilumpo monastery, the seat of the panchen Lama, hence one of the most important monasteries in Tibet. Altitude 3800 m.
Day 16: Drive from Shigatse to Gyantse (125 km/6 hr) Overnight Hotel.
Shigatse (overnight at Sangdrobtse hotel with b/b sight-seeing Baijui Monastery) [Festival] Shigatse (Xigatse) - 12600 ft. "Shigatse" in Tibetan means " the Estate that fulfills One's Wishes". There is a bustling 'free' market at the foot of the ruins of the Xigatse Fortress where One can buy local handicrafts embedded with coral and turquoise, Tibetan daggers, Chinese porcelain And yak butter. It is situated between 29o 02'N and 88o 08'E in the south - west of the Tibet Autonomous Region where Nyangchu River joins the Yarlung Tsangpo River. Shigatse is the second Biggest town in Tibet and it is the center of transportation and the distributing center of agriculture And husbandry products of southeastern part of Tibet. It is famous for the great Monastery.
Day 17: Drive from Gyantse to Lhasa. Overnight Hotel.
Gyangtse (overnight at Gyangtse hotel with b/b sight-seeing Tashilunpu Monastery) Shoton - [Yogurt Festival] Gyangtse (13050 ft): A small agricultural town famous for its wool carpets and The Phalkor Choide Chorten.Between the monastery and the fort, this unique structure built in 1414 Consists of five stories representing the five steps to enlightenment, topped by thirteen rings which Symbolize the stages of advancement towards Buddhahood. There are 108 halls inside, each with Frescoes and Buddha Shrines, the frescoes showing a strong Indian influence. Before 1959 traders Coming from Kalimpong
and Gangtok (India) used to enter Tibet through Yandong and then to Gyantse, en route to Lhasa.
Day 18:. Sightseeing around Lhasa
Lhasa sightseeing as Potala Palace and Jorkhang Temple [Drepung & Sera Monastery Thangkha festival] Jorkhang Temple: Jokhang Temple situated in the center of the old section of Lhasa, and was built in the mid - 7th century A. D. and later extended by successive rulers, it has now become a gigantic architecture complex. Located in the east, facing to the west, it is a four-storied Temple with splendid golden roofs. It has architecture feature of Tang Dynasty and also assimilated very much features from both Nepalese and Indian Buddhist Temples. The murals in the temple mainly depict the life stories of historic characters. The temple houses many historical relics since Tang Dynasty and statues of King Songtsen Gompa, Princess Wencheng, Princess Bhrikuti Devi (Nepalese). "Princess Willow" (a tree), and "The Uncle - Nephew Alliance Tablet" can be seen at the front gate of the temple. Jokhang is the country' s spiritual center, and the holiest destination for Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims. It houses the sitting statue of Sakyamuni when he was 12 years old.
Day 19: Sightseeing around Lhasa
Sightseeing Drepung and Sera with Norbulingka [Festival] Drepung Monastery: Situated five Km's distance to the western suburb of Lhasa at the foot of Mt. Ganpoi Uze. Jamyang Choje, a disciple of Tsongkapa, the founder of Gelugpa Sect, founded Drepung Monastery, in 1416. The monastery, occupying an area of 250,000 squire meters with a fixed number of 7,700 monks, is the largest monastery in Tibet. The monastery keeps plentiful historical relics, Buddhist scriptures, and arts and crafts.

Day 03: Drive to Nylam (150km), 3750m:
Morning after breakfast leave Kathmandu to commence yatra to Nyalam [3750M]. We reach Friendship Bridge [Nepal – China Boarder] by mini-coach. Walk along for 10 minutes to cross the bridge and there get acquainted with Chinese guide and land cruiser drivers. They will give a brief information regarding the further trip then proceed the journey to Zangmu, where all the immigration and custom formalities are ought to be accomplished. After the accomplishment of all formalities, we proceed to Nyalam. Arrival at Nyalam and overnight stay at guesthouse.
Day 04: Rest Day at Nylam, 3750m:
It is more a day for acclimatization.
Day 05: Saga/4450m: (Labug-La 5150m, Peku-tso and Saga, 232km)
On the first long driving day over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet, other things like lake, nomads chasing thousands of yaks and sheep keep you busy. By the late afternoon you will cross Bhramha Purtra River way to typical Chinese and Tibetan town, Saga for night.
Day 06: Paryang (4600m) 230 km 7-8 hrs:
Jeeps and trucks roll on the wide valley following rivers and grazing land of yaks and sheep. Far south you can see snow covered peaks near by you, lots of rocky peaks and sand duns give you an ideal world. Depends on season, nomads and other mobile shopkeepers are attired by beautiful traditional costume, waiting your arrival with hot tea and other supplies along with big smile.
Day 07: Drive Paryang to Manasarover (4558m) 277km 8 hours:
The longest driving day starts with full of excitement, by the late afternoon you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara. Hore, a small village near by Lake Manasarover.
Holy-Manasarovara: At 14950-ft/ 4558m. The highest lake of fresh water with turquoise complexion in the world is full of fishes and swans. Holy Kailash Parbat, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, Lake Rashekshi are lying on its surrounding. The region is considered rich for gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures. Night will be spending at Chu Gumba.
Day 08: Puja and drive to Tarchen (14975ft) 40km: Manasarovara is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and Puja we will be heading towards Tarchen. It is considered as a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.
Day 09: Trek to Dehara Puk/5000m: It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; water falls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feeling that Great God Shiva is every where with tons of blessing to you.
Time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will be keep on appearing. For 15 km trail it takes almost 7 hrs.
Day 10 Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys: Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget yourself. Once your steps go down, Parvati-stal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon you will arrive Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here).
Day 11: End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Manasarovara: After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting your arrival. By the late afternoon you will be at your lodge/camp.
Day 12: Drive to Paryang (277km) 7-8 hr.
Day 13: Drive Paryang to Saga (230km) 7-8 hrs
Day 14: Drive to Nylam or Zangmu: (245km) 6-7 hr.
Day 15:Drive to friendship-bridge.
Drive to Friendship Bridge at the border, our tour guide will see you off here, and you need cross the border by yourself. Himalaya journey reprensentative will pick up you from Kodari (Tibet border), transfer to hotel. Over night at Kathmandu.
Day16: After breakfast, relaxing or shopping or join for other adventures activities program in Nepal if not Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition drop to Kathmandu international airport for onward journey.
