Kanchenjunga base camp trekking is challenging restricted trekking trail in eastern part of Nepal. Kanchenjunga trek is unique trekking destination in Nepal for superb Himalayan views, touch the Mt. Kanchenjunga base camp, wild animals , mixed culture wildlife including snow leopard, Himalayan black bear, musk deer red panda etc. birds like mountain dove, pheasant, red-billed blue magpie, shy drongo are found in Kanchenjunga trek . Mt. Kanchenjunga 8586m, the second tallest mountain in Nepal and third tallest mountain in the world . Kanchenjunga base camp trek opened for trekking in 1988 and protected by Kanchenjunga Conservation Area spread in an area of 2,035 sq. Km. Mt. Kanchenjunga has two base camp northern Kanchenjunga base camp known as pangpema base camp 5143m and southern Kanchenjuna base camp known as Oktang base camp 4730m . Mount Kanchenjunga has four combine summits such as Kanchenjunga 8586m, Kanchenjunga central 8482m, Kanchenjunga south 8476m, Yalung Khang 8505m , Khambachen7903m known as five treasure of snow. Kanchenjunga base camp has five-pass Mirgin La (4663m) range between Tseram and Ghunsa village and from high passes, magnificent views of such giants as , Makalu, Chamlang and Kangchenjunga , Jhanu Himal ( Kumbhakarna Himal).

Kanchenjunga base camp trekking start from two different place either Basantpur after 18 hours drive from Kathmandu or Suketar after 1 hour flight from Kathmandu. We Himalaya Journey Treks and expedition arrange both option Kanchenjunga base camp treks as per trekkers holiday schedule. Option I: Kanchenjunga Trekking (Drive in Taplejung & Fly out from suketar)

Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu 1334m, Himalaya Journey Treks & Expedition’s representative will transfer to hotel , Kanchenjunga trekking briefing with officially arrangements. overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 02: After breakfast, our tour guide will take to you for historical monuments sightseeing around kathmandu valley such as Bhkatapur, pasupatinath, Boudhhanath, kathmandu durbar square & Swaymbhunath(monkey temple) and prepare for the Kanchenjunga trekking because this day is required to make Kanchenjunga trekking permit with original passport. Day 03: Kathmandu drive bus to Dharan Bazaar 1540m. Over night at Lodge /Tea house.

Day 04: Dharan Bazaar drive bus to Basantpur 2200m .Overnight at Tented Camp.
